SD-SP Models
Solar Design SD-SP (‘split pressurised’) models exist in five different sizes; 100L, 150L, 200L, 250L, 300L. They consist of three components:
- Evacuated tube collector
- Pressurized tank
- Control box
Evacuated tube collectors have more efficient heat transfer than flat plat collectors. With less heat loss through the vacuum air layer in the evacuated tubes, these systems are more efficient at lower ambient (outdoor) air temperatures.
Depending on your preference, you can choose to purchase a complete system (i.e. collector, controller and tank) or a partial system (i.e. collector only).
